Synchro at the University of Hawaii, Manoa

In November 2005 Hawaii Synchro Club (HSC) at the University of Hawaii, Manoa was approved as a Registered Independent Organization (RIO), creating the first collegiate club team in the State. Synchronized swimming is considered to be a new and emerging sport, therefore our club status allows us to compete with other collegiate synchronized swimming teams throughout the nation while we pursue varsity status. To participate, athletes must be enrolled at the University of Hawaii’s Manoa Campus.

During the week of July 11-15th 2011we hosted our 2nd International US Open Synchronized Swimming Championships at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex. The competition was a success, while being host to teams from the USA, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, and Mexico.
